Most of us are well aware that RIM’s BlackBerry services have now got another 60 days, while the new solution is being tested by the Indian security officials. On the other, Nokia is making some new moves to improve its already strong presence in the Indian market.

Nokia will be setting up enterprise servers in India by November to promote its push e-mail services in the country and it will also comply with the government regulations. Many may already know that Nokia has been running a beta in the country for their Messaging Services since last year and it looks like the company has not yet given up hopes where it has been and still is dominating as the largest mobile phone manufacturer.

Nokia has also mentioned that it was prepared to assist the applicable government authorities with their requests for the security measures and that it was in it the process of installing the required infrastructure. While the company has also mentioned that they are also committed to protecting its users’ privacy and maintaining their trust.

According to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, the country has a total of 636 million mobile subscribers and about 18 million were added in the month of June. These really are great number and reflect the increasing growth in the market. Introducing enterprise services at such a critical time is going to be a huge hit for Nokia as the company has a vast reach across the country and a maximum number of phones used by the Indian consumers are manufactured by Nokia.
